I cvurrently have been accepted to one nursing schoo for the Fall 2012 academic school year and am waiting to hear from a second. Where do I apply for the scholarships mentioned above or the federal scholarship? Thanks for your time.

Hi, my name is Michele Cassesse and I am a mother of two young boys looking for some grants to help me allevelate financial burden of attending nursing school. I am currently enrolled in a local community college for my pre-requisities. I am first one in my immediate family to achieve a goal of receiving a degree. I want to be a role model to my sons that anyone no matter how old or what your current position is, you are not too old to attend college. I have been working the Hampden County Sheriff’s Department in Ludlow MA for the past 20 years and 11 of them have been in the medical dept. I have a great deal of respect of the nurses who I work with.

I also want to become a nurse because three years ago my son was diagnosis with cancer and I saw the amount of caring, dedication and demand that these men and women have with these patients. I hope that you take into consideration.

I was interested in applying for the Federal nursing scholarship. I am 26 and a resident of Colorado who is going back to school for my BSN. I have worked for nonprofits who help the underserved communities and plan to continue down that path for my future. Any information about the scholarship would be very helpful, thank you.

Hi, I am a first time college student in Alaska. I am going for my Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing and I am the first in my family to go to College. I hope to specialize in burn victims or pediatrics. I want to be a Nurse because I know I will be very happy in life if I have a job in which all I do all day is help other people. Also it would allow me to care for my aging mother who works two jobs to support be going to school full-time. I come from a single parent household, I am half African-American and half Caucasian and suffer from OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder) and ADHD. I am 18 years old and go to school at the University of Alaska Anchorage full time in both the Fall and Spring semesters and I take summer classes as well. Im looking for any assistance or aide in achieving my goal of becoming a Registered Nurse in Alaska. Any kind hearted philanthropists who would like to help me out are more then welcome to Email me and I will do whatever it takes to get help paying for my classes and books. I am enrolled into a two year Registered Nurse Program at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. I currently reside in Decatur county in Indiana and have all my life. I am looking for scholarships or grants to help fund my education. I am twenty-one years old, GPA of 3.8 on 4.0 scale. I have divorced parents and live with my mother and step-father. My mother just recently lost her job and I am trying to find ways to cope financially. I work part time at a country club at about fifteen hours a week. Any information would help greatly.
