Hello, I cuurently have a Bachelors and graduated from UCO n 2005. I have federal student loans I am paying and wanting to go back to school for nursing. My degree is in liberal arts and I’m thinking ill need to start fresh with everything. The only way possible ill be able to pursue this is with grants or scholarships. With my existing financial assistance (although loans payments in good standing!), I can’t take on much more educational debt. Does anyone have any advice on who to talk to or where to start? Thank you for any comments!

My daughter Erika Guerrero graduated from Guthrie High School in May 2011 and she just enrolled at UCO for nursing major, we applied for financial aid with FAFSA but will still need more financial assistance. Could you please contact me with other scholorships/grants that may be available to her. She is the first in my family to graduate high school and first to attend college and want to help her out as much as I can.

I have BSN degree in nursing, and have worked as a nurse for 8 years. Currently, I am working as an instructor in an associate degree nursing program in Oklahoma. I am passionate in my role as a nurse facilitator in encouraging and helping others who are serious and dedicated in their journey to becoming nurses. I am seeking scholarship/grant opportunities that may be available to assist me in my new goal of attaining a masters in nursing education. Hi my name is Arlondra Smith, I am a high school junior and I am ranked number 15 in my class of 123. I hold a 3.796 weighted GPA and currently is taking college credit courses part-time at my school. That is just my GPA for my first semester of this year, so I continue to make the GPA higher and plan on to graduate with a 4.0.. I know that I am capable of reaching that goal. I want to become a nurse practitioner and in order to do that, I plan to attend the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, Oklahoma for four years and receive my Bachelors of Science in Nursing to become a registered nurse first which is required. After I get my Bachelors, I plan on getting my Masters of Science in Nursing in order to pursue my career as a Nurse Practitioner. I would like to receive any information on scholarships for Oklahoma high school students. Thank You
