Hello, I am a single african american women that has hit hardship and cannot afford to pay for school. I am halfway through the program and i dont have enough funds to pay for school. Could you please help me find scholarships. I have no children and am the first to do further my education in my family. I would hate to be labeled a product of my enviroment when i a, trying to do the best i can

Where can i find scholarships for someone looking into becoming a LPN. My pell grant will not cover summer classes so i am looking for scholarships or any ohter type of grant!

I am currently enrolled full time in Penny valley community collage to get my LPN. I am a mother of three two in collage one in high school. I support my children to finish their education and we get loan for them. I also asked loan for my self, I got but it is not enough for my education, books and necessary materials for school. I can’t work more than 20 hrs. a week because I need more time to study and be successful. Therefore, I need financial support to help my children finish their school and for myself. Would you please provide your advise and information.

Hi,my name is Sandy. I am currently enrolled at Hondros college for LPN. I recently was laid off on 2/16/11. I am recieving unemployment but being a single mother and trying to meet ends meet is very complicated. I will be starting the LPN program on 1/3/2012. I wanted to become a nurse because I love people and helping them in any way possibile.

HI, My name is Holly. I am currently enrolling in Palm Beach state college to get a AS degree in nursing in hope to go as far as an RN down the road. I am a mother of five and we live on one income alone. Every month is a struggle. I want more then to further my education in nursing to be able to provide for my family, but don’t have the means to do so. I love taking care of people and nursing has been my dream job for years. Please, if you could provide me with any info, scholarship help or grants, that would be much appreciated.

Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Corina Hernandez and I am in need of some guidance. I completed my education as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in May of 2010 at Pacific College and graduated. I am working as a CNA and am unable to pay the remaining balance to the school which is $5,000 in order to sit for the State Board Licensure. The School has a hold on my transcripts until balance is paid in full.

Please guide me to any sort of funding and or resources I may be eligible for. I am barely making ends meet at this time. I adore nursing and would love to utilize my knowledge & skills gained at this school. I am fulfilling my dream to become a licensed nurse, but I have hit a roadblock.
